Very fine. There are a few binding holes and 1 pinhole each in both images. Paper added to both vertical edges, in part to assist binding. This print is actually an uncut chuban pair. It is signed, Toyokuni.

Notes:

The "Husband and Wife" rocks identify this as Futami Beach. Bound by heavy ropes and with Torii gates at the crest; this is clearly a Shinto shrine. An early and rare Kunisada landscape. Same as TNM #2720. Published by Nishimura Eijudo.

Condition:

Fine impression with very good color. Gauffrage embossed throughout the waters of the beach. A vertical centerfold. Some glue residue and hinge marks on the back, invisible from the front.
